A day at Bitterne School...

And the day begins...Amy and I set of to Bitterne School for an 8.30am start, This is the day we have been waiting for, not only for us to help the students make there designs but to see what the final designs will look like.
This is one group cutting their patterns out ready to start making, look at the concentration on the faces!

She is off!!!! look at her using that machine like a expert!

The girls are making sure they have enough material before cutting here, they have the right idea with the red stripes very Nautical!

So not only pattern cutting but using fabric dye, the girls decided to transform a white skirt into a blue Nautical skirt by using the skills and dying the fabric, this only took them 10 minutes to dye then the use of a hairdryer to dry the skirt and then it was ready to be used

And here are a few final designs made by the students!

Above shows my inspiration for a prop's. I will then be researching more in depth props that can be visually used within the live project.

The second image shows visual looks of a luxury yacht inside including decor and  layouts. these will be considered for the space in the corridor and what effect and feel it will have. The pictures have been found and taken from look-books, trend sites,Pinterst and magazines and been created into mood-boards for inspiration.

Pashley

Pashley Cycles is a bicylce, tricycle and work bike manfacture based in Stratford-upon-avon in warwickshire, England. The company was started in 1926[1] and still manufactures bikes in the UK. The font we thought of by researching as relevant to the era that will be used within the live project and starting form the 1920’s era. The font will be used within our logo – (AH-HA) to be presented on a life preserver on both sides to be shown on entrance of arcade space.
